The CESAR system has served as a source of information on the current status of transport units for many years. Some technical components need to be upgraded in order to ensure that the system can continue to provide a reliable service, and this will entail relocating the host system. This is scheduled for early or mid-May 2017 and will take place on a weekend. The CESAR website will announce the exact date beforehand. It will not be possible to access the CESAR application on this date, as the comprehensive tracking & tracing database has to be migrated to a new IT system. B2B communication with the CESAR system, which is used by numerous customers, will also be affected. It will not be possible to access any transport information via this interface during this period either.
