Kombiverkehr is about to add two more products on services between Germany and Italy. Since the middle of March the Port of Rostock has been connected to Verona Interterminal in northern Italy seven times a week in each direction. That offers the ideal opportunity to combine truck, rail and ferry efficiently for shipments arriving in or leaving the port from or for Italy, Scandinavia and the Baltic states.
On 25 April we are expanding our Italy product range from Köln-Eifeltor via Gotthard with a new direct train connection to and from Melzo. The Melzo terminal is located east of the Milan metropolitan area and will be served with five weekly return trips in both directions from Mondays to Fridays. Semitrailers with a P400 profile can be transported on this route. From Cologne there are direct connections to Malmö and via Hamburg and the Baltic Sea ports to further destinations in Denmark and Sweden, all of which can be booked end-to-end.
