Unfortunately, we continue to find that waste documents are not being completed properly. We are therefore repeating the important information on how to complete Annex I B and Annex VII for the transboundary movement/shipment of waste if there are more than three participating companies:

If you tick the “More than three carriers” option for number 8 c) in the “Movement document for transboundary movements/shipments of waste”, which means that more than three carriers are involved in a shipment, the “Supplementary sheet to the movement document for transboundary movements/shipments of waste” must also be completed. On this supplementary sheet the information required for fields 8 a) to 8 c) must also be provided for the other carriers involved. By way of clarification, the relevant fields are highlighted on the Annex I B form.

The carriers involved must also be entered in fields 5 a) to 5 c) in Annex VII (Information document for shipments pursuant to Art. 3 (2) and (4)). If additional carriers are involved, their details must likewise be listed on a supplementary sheet in line with the information in fields 5 a) to 5 c). The relevant fields are also highlighted on the Annex VII form.

Please speak to the waste generator about this process so that they can complete the documents correctly.
