In mid-November we completed the establishment of a new operating company for terminal operations in Mortara. In doing so Kombiverkehr has taken another step down the path of actively contributing its intermodal expertise at the interfaces of road-rail Combined Transport and aligning terminal operations to best meet the requirements of forwarders.
Known as Kombi Terminal Mortara s.r.l., the new company will take over ongoing transshipment operations at the Mortara terminal on 1 January 2023, providing continuity on a quality-assured basis. The Mortara terminal is an important location in the greater Milan area in Kombiverkehr’s European network and can be reached from Krefeld, Venlo and Rotterdam.
