New intermodal direct train Munich-Riem – Wels v.v.

Kombiverkehr has expanded its intermodal services between Germany and Austria. Since 6 September, a new direct train has been operating between the Munich-Riem and Wels CTT terminals. Three departures per week and direction are offered on a scheduled basis. The two regional terminals also act as hubs for more extensive transports. Within Germany, Cologne-Eifeltor and Leipzig-Wahren are also accessible for Austrian shipments. Within Austria, Wels is the hub for shipments to and from Vienna, Bludenz, Graz, Hall in Tyrol, Linz, St. Michael, Villach and Wolfurt, as well as to and from Sindos in Greece. There is also an international connection to and from Budapest, from where in turn Halkali in Istanbul are connected by rail. Kombiverkehr offers all forwarding services in a one-stop-shop procedure.
