Kombiverkehr is further expanding the range of services on the Mediterranean route in Spanish traffic. As of this week, a new fourth round trip per week and direction is being installed on the connection between Ludwigshafen and Barcelona Morrot. The additional train departure to Barcelona is always offered on Tuesdays from the combined transport terminal in Ludwigshafen, and in the opposite direction on Thursdays from Barcelona Morrot to Ludwigshafen. The closing time for trailers, containers and swap bodies is 20:00 at both shipping terminals.

In addition to tank containers, the newly created capacities will benefit semi-trailers in particular. Kombiverkehr is also expanding its capacity for trailer transport by more than 30 per cent with the increased use of T3000 megatrailer double pocket wagons for semi-trailers with an internal clearance of three metres.
