Over the last year we have enabled our customers to shift more than 930,000 truck consignments from road and sea to climate-friendly rail. One consignment is equivalent to the capacity of a complete truck and trailer combination. The increase in volumes compared with the previous year delivers a further reduction in their carbon footprint. 1,107,600 tons of CO2 – a hundred tons more than the previous year – were saved thanks to the relocation of transport to the railway. That’s a remarkable achievement by forwarders and logistics companies and makes a significant contribution towards protecting the climate and environment!
