Waste

Underneath you'll find an overview to the legal framework concerning national and international waste transports.

National transports: waste transports inside Germany are possible. But not all terminals are allowed to handle waste, so please contact our specialist for waste before starting tramsports

International transporte:
even in Europe waste can be transported. Like in Germany not all terminals are allowed to handle waste and also not every railway undertaking can transport waste. So also in this case contact our specialist for waste in advance.

Transport of waste to and from Italy:
Since most waste is currently transported to and from Italy at present, please refer to the following information provided by our Italian partner company Cemat. This information describes the operational procedures.

Germany: realignment of the Closed Substance Cycle and waste Managemant Act (KrWG) as from june 1st 2012

With the realignment of the KrWG from june 1st collectors, carriers, merchants and brokers of waste have to give a notice to the competent authority before starting the activity of their business.

The new KrWG differs only after the dangerousness of waste. From june 1st in Germany no waste can be transported without a notice or permission to or of the competent authority.

Transport Licences (TgV) issued until may 31st 2012 are valid and no new notice to the competent authority is necessary.

Further informations and a formular can be found on the homepage of the ZKS-Abfall. As a matter of fact that page can only be found in german language.

Italy: traceability of waste as from january 1st 2011

On January 1st 2011 in Italy the new system SISTRI came into force. It means that nearly every waste transport can be controlled in real-time. On the homepage of the chamber of commerce of Bozen you'll find detailed information in german and italian language. The homepage of SISTRI is www.sistri.it (as a matter of fact this side is in italian language only).

Germany: eANV (electronic waste proof act) as from april 1st 2010

From April 1st 2010 in Germany a new electronical system went into force. This means that national transports of waste no longer will be followed by papers and forms but with an electronic intrument. On the homepage of the BMUB (Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety) you'll find further information concerning this topic.

Detalied informations concerning the eANV you'll find on the homepage of the ZKS-Abfall. As a matter of fact that page can only be found in a german version.
