Western Europe
High-quality block trains running to and from Cologne and Ludwigshafen enable Kombiverkehr to open up the Iberian peninsula, enabling combined transport services to access the Spanish Mediterranean region via Barcelona/Granollers and Tarragona. A northern route leads via Bayonne (France), Irún and Madrid to further terminals in Spain and Portugal. The large number of satellite services, e.g. to Vitoria, Madrid, Zaragoza and Lisbon, ensures excellent and comprehensive coverage in these countries.
The Duisburg - Lyons v.v. block train connects terminals in Germany, Poland and Scandinavia to the Lyons economic region.
Kombiverkehr has opened the way to the western seaports by connecting Rotterdam to the national Kombi-Netz 2000+ via Duisburg. With a block train also Antwerp has been connected with Duisburg.
