Special arrangements
The publications and online applications referring to the Kombiverkehr timetable (printed timetables and online connection search) contain all the definite medium to long-term timetable variations relating to current monthly timetables, public and general holiday arrangements, building works, track closures and route deviations. As a rule these variations are taken into account in the production of timetables four weeks prior to the relevant event (e.g. month in the case of current monthly timetables, date of public or general holiday, start of track closure, etc.). For short-term timetable variations, please continue to refer to special announcements in the news section under "News" on the Kombiverkehr website, and to customer information provided by National and International Transport and by Transport Monitoring.
If consignments can be shipped on a particular route on Sundays, this is indicated in the timetable. If the receiving day in unaccompanied transport falls on a Sunday or public holiday, the time for collection is normally postponed to the next working day or a different time than on the other days of the week. Even if there is a Sunday or public holiday between the shipping date and the receiving date, transportation may take longer. Please ask for current special arrangements.
