Italy: Traceability of waste as from 01.01.2011


On January 1st in Italy the new system SISTRI came into force. It means that nearly every waste transport can be controlled in real-time. On the homepage of the chamber of commerce of Bozen you'll find detailed information in german and italian language. The homepage of SISTRI is www.sistri.it .

Germany: eANV (electronic waste proof act) as from 01.04.2010


From April 1st in Germany a new electronical system went into force. This means that national transports of waste no longer will be
followed by papers and forms but with an electronic intrument. On the homepage of the BMU (Federal Ministry for the Environment,
Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety) you'll find further information concerning this topic.

New European Regulation 1013/2006 for waste transports 

We like to inform you that since July 12th 2007 the new European Regulation 1013/2006 for the shipment of waste is in force.  The documents for the notification and the transport have changed and a new document has come:

  1. document "Annex I A" (document of notification)
  2. document "Annex I B" (accompanying document)
  3. document "Annex VII" (information document regarding the consign-
    ments listed in the article 3 (2) and (4))

Here you will find the text of the Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 june 2006 on shipment of waste.

Transports running under an 'old' notification remains unchanged.

NEW:
On july 16th 2008 the Official Journal of the European Union published as EC No. 669/2008 the completing annex IC of Regulation EC 1013/2006 on shipment of waste. Herein necessary explanations for completing the notification and movement document are given.

National transport:

Waste can be transported within Germany. However, not all terminals are licensed for waste. Please consult our Hazardous Goods Officer in plenty of time before commencing transportation.

International transport:

Waste can also be transported within Europe. Again, please consult our Hazardous Goods Officer in plenty of time.

Transportation of waste from Italy:

Since most waste is currently transported to and from Italy at present, please refer to the following information provided by our Italian partner company Cemat . This information describes the operational procedures.
