Special arrangements / Variations to the regular timetable
The publications and online applications referring to the Kombiverkehr timetable (printed timetables, online connection search and personal timetable booklets) contain all the definite medium to long-term timetable variations relating to public and general holiday arrangements, building works, track closures and route deviations (excepting foreign antenna services and ferry services). As a rule these variations are taken into account in the production of timetables four weeks prior to the relevant event (e.g. date of public or general holiday, start of track closure, etc.). For short-term timetable variations, please refer to customer information provided by National and International Transport and by Transport Monitoring.
Please note that the start of unloading is normally postponed to the following working day, and often to a different time than on other weekdays, if the receiving date falls on a public holiday. If a public holiday falls between the shipping date and the receiving date, transportation may take longer.
Timetable arrangements during the public holidays
Please note the timetbale arrangements during the public holidays in early December, at Christmas and over the New Year 2011/2012. Timetable information concerning trains offered in cooperation with HUPAC Intermodal can be obtained on the HUPAC website.
Different agency and terminal opening hours
Especially on holidays and during vacation periods, there may be changes to the agency and terminal opening hours. In this regard, please note the agency and terminal opening hours during the public holidays in early December, at Christmas and over the New Year 2011/2012.
