The modified, secure and user-friendly online booking system has been available to use via the myKOMBIVERKEHR application since 16 July 2015. It simplifies the procedure for booking intermodal transport units on Kombiverkehr's European network and is intended to replace the existing fax and email procedure as well as the current online booking procedure on www.it-service.kombiverkehr.de/buchen. It is also an important addition to the existing B2B booking system using the XML interface. There are plans to make the modified online booking mandatory alongside B2B booking for all customers of Kombiverkehr at a later date. All users will be informed in good time before the existing online booking system is discontinued.
