In light of recent events, we must reiterate strongly that dome covers and any additional protective caps on tank containers, portable tanks and the like must be properly closed. If this is not done, the train will have to be stopped and the wagon removed, which leads to considerable delays and cost. Various terminal operators carry out checks to ensure compliance with the regulations. Please also inform your drivers so that they check the dome covers and protective caps again before arrival at the terminal.
