Kombiverkehr is currently investigating the possibility of launching a direct train service between Duisburg and Hirtshals in Denmark. Five departures per week in each direction are being considered. From Hirtshals there will then be a connection to Norway using the ferries of ferry operators Color Line and Fjord Line.
