New service offer Lübeck - Sweden v.v. from January 2024
12/20/2023

With the start of the new year, we are expanding our train services to Sweden. On 3 January 2024, the Lübeck Dänischburg CTL terminal will have a direct train connection to Hallsberg and Stockholm in Sweden that can be booked by any freight forwarder. The Stockholm Norra (Rosersberg) terminal, which is around 30 kilometres north of Stockholm, will be served. The same applies to another new through service within Sweden for trailers and containers from the port of Malmö via Norrköping to Stockholm and back. The combination of ferry from Lübeck-Skandinavienkai and rail from Malmö will be included in the intermodal timetable for freight forwarders and logistics companies from 15 January.

The service days on the connection via the fixed link are Monday, Wednesday and Friday in both directions. The train service between Malmö and Stockholm and the ferry service to and from Lübeck will be offered three times a week in each direction: northbound on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, southbound on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The transport of hazardous goods is possible. The only exceptions are class 1 and 7 hazardous goods. Waste can also be transported on these routes by prior arrangement. There are no restrictions with regard to loading unit profiles. This means that trailers with a P400 profile are also permitted on both routes.

From Lübeck, Basel, Duisburg, Hanover, Ludwigshafen, Cologne and Munich are connected in onward transport. Internationally, terminals in Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Greece and Turkey can be reached in gateway traffic.
